  • FNR Career World Championship S2

    1a - Championship structure

This championship is incremental, designed to run for multiple seasons.
Each driver will be provided with a license that will be valid throughout their entire stay, season after season.
The license defines a driver's car category (TCX, GT4, GTC, GT2, GT3), skill category (AM, SILVER, PRO) and available license points (12).

New drivers start from the TCX car category and the lowest AM skill category. At the end of each season, there are promotions or relegations according to specific criteria (section 2a - Driver License) related to the final placing and licence points remaining.

If the number of participants in a category exceeds the number of available slots, pre-qualifications will be held to determine its entry list.
Drivers who are promoted to higher categories (GT4, GTC, GT2 and GT3) have their slot guaranteed in the new category and do not participate in pre-qualifications.

Each season, drivers in the GTC category will have to choose the sub-category of car in which they will race, and once the final standings of the season are determined, the top 2 drivers in each sub-category will be promoted to GT2, for a total of 6 promoted drivers.

All categories will run in the same race until there are at least 50 total drivers, then they will be split into two separate races: TCX and GT4 on one side, GTC, GT2 and GT3 on the other.

1b - Entry fee and Prize pool

An entry fee of 5$ is required to join our championship.

There is a prize pool, allocated as follows:
    - 1st place: 3h of coaching sessions, free sign-up for next season
    - 2nd place: 1.5h of coaching sessions, free sign-up for next season
    - 3rd place: free sign-up for next season

Coaching sessions will be with one of the ACC e-sport drivers Guglielmo Filippi and Marco Lomi

    1c - Season format

    Each season consists of:
    - 4 races for the TCX and GT4 categories.
    - 4 races + 1 bonus for the GT3 category.

At the end of each season:
    - the top 10 of the TCX category are promoted to GT4 (with license points >=4); - the top 8 of the GT4 category are promoted to GTC (with license points >=6); - the top 6 of the GTC category are promoted to GT2 (with license points >=8); - the top 5 of the GT2 category are promoted to GT3 (with license points >=10);

The only type of demotion considered is for lack of license points, in which case demoted drivers are demoted to the lower car category with SILVER skill.

2b - License Points system and consequences

Every infraction during the race weekend sessions corresponds to an amount of points that will be subtracted from the license points amount.

A- 6 license points remaining = Disqualification from Qualifying of the following race weekend.
B- 2 license points remaining = Position in the league at risk: upon reaching a decision, if the driver can continue, he/she will be monitored until the end of the championship. If the behavior does not improve, the driver in question will be removed from the league.

License point penalties will be given regardless of any other penalties the driver has received in the game. Each incident will be evaluated based on the specific context in which the incident occurred. After the evaluation license points may or may not be awarded.

Every 2 clean races (with no report penalties) you will earn 1 license point.

    3 - Qualifications

A- In qualifying, it is the driver's responsibility to find clear space on the track to start the flying lap. Therefore, a driver on his flying lap must not abort his lap if a faster car approaches from behind. A driver in his In/Out Lap or Cancelled/Aborted Lap MUST leave room for other drivers on their flying lap, so as not to damage him.

B- It is NOT allowed to return to the pits from the pause menu, otherwise it will NOT be possible to continue qualifying.

C- It is expected that drivers will comply with Disqualifications as a result of License Points received, therefore they will not be allowed to leave the pits and set any lap.

    4 - Race

Always race cleanly. No contact should occur between cars, and as drivers everyone must do their best to prevent this from happening. Accidents can happen, but if a driver has caused a collision, and it is reported, the driver will be penalized.
It is important to be aware of where the cars are around you; it is vital to pay close attention, both at the beginning of the race and in battles.

Pay particular attention to yellow flags, if exposed: since there is no Safety Car, it is the driver's responsibility to expect an accident with cars that may be in the middle of the track and to take the necessary precautions.

    Collisions
A.1- Do not be too aggressive in overtaking. It is generally the responsibility of the chasing car to complete the overtake cleanly.
A.2- Never force a car alongside to leave the track. Alongside is defined as having the front wheels of the chasing car at the same height as the rear wheels of the defending car. If 2 cars are alongside in a corner you must always leave room for both.

    Dangerous Driving
B.1- Moving under braking is absolutely not allowed, because it can cause accidents. Choose a braking line and keep it until the end of the braking.
B.2- Waving in front of or blocking the driver in your slipstream is not allowed.
B.3- When you are defending from the attacking car, only one defensive movement is allowed. Choose a line and hold it, and make sure the driver behind you has time to react.
B.4- Re-enter the track in a safe manner. If a driver spins off the track while other cars are nearby, you MUST WAIT and be SURE you do not create dangerous situations before re-entering. If you spin on the track you MUST STAY STILL as long as cars are passing by. It is highly recommended to have the full map in the HUD.

    5 - Reports and Counter-Reports

Drivers are allowed to make reports to bring to the attention of the race direction of incidents/episodes suffered, by filling out the form in the appropriate Discord channel -report-an-incident, keeping in mind that:

a- It is required to fill out the form in its entirety

b- For each submitted report, each driver receiving it can make only one counter-report, to show his point of view and allow the race direction to better evaluate the incident.

c- The deadlines for making reports and counter-reports are as follows:
    - Race day Wednesday, report deadline 9 p.m. Thursday, counter-report deadline 9 p.m. Friday

d- If the outcome of a report leads to neither a penalty nor a race incident, it is considered a waste of time and the driver who submitted it will receive 1 warning.

    6 - Miscellaneous

a- During the qualifying and race sessions, it is forbidden to access other teams' voice channels unless you have agreed beforehand, as it breaks other drivers' concentration and can lead to serious consequences on the race. You can discuss any incidents that occurred during qualifying and race after the race in the appropriate Paddock channels.
Should a driver be found to break this rule, the first time he will receive an official warning, the second time his access to the voice channels of all other teams will be blocked.

b- Insulting in general chat and reports is strictly forbidden.
Should a driver be found to break this rule, the first time he/she will receive a license point, the second time he/she will be disqualified from the championship.

C- Lapping: When being lapped it is expected that the driver will facilitate overtaking faster drivers safely and without loss of time. It is the responsibility of both drivers to be aware of the situation.
It is expected that the lapped driver will not engage in any type of defense (braking, pushing off the track, etc.) so that the faster car can overtake in the shortest possible time. Do not continue at normal race pace, and wait until the car that is lapping you has fully completed the overtake.
The lapped driver can use the direction indicators to show where to position himself, not where to be overtaken.

D- If you are going faster than the car that has lapped you, do not attempt to unlap yourself unless it is safe and will not damage the other car. E- If a server crash ever occurs, one of the following measures will be taken: - Crash before 50% race, the race session will be restarted immediately if the majority of drivers agree, or postponed until the following Thursday. - Crash between 50% and 80% of race, the race will be considered valid but with half of the points awarded. - Crash after 80% race, the race will be considered over, with the maximum points assignable. F- Should a driver crash and want to rejoin the server, it is mandatory that he/she select a non-custom livery so that it does not cause dangerous freezes to other drivers on the track. G- We reserve the right to intervene with sanctions above the rules, with or without a report, in case of particular recidivism.

    Sanctions

    Qualifying
2ab.1 - Impeding = 10 seconds in the next race
2ab.2 - Impeding with collision = 1 License Point + 10 seconds in the next race

2c - Ignoring Disqualifications received = 2 License Points + Drive through in the next race

    Race - Collisions
(They will be classified as minor, moderate or severe depending on their consequence. This is a reference grid, Stewards may reduce or increase penalties based on context)

3a.1 - Minor = 1st time: Warning, 2nd time: 5 to 10 seconds penalty (Light damage, reduced loss of time or positions)
3a.2 - Moderate = 10 to 20 seconds penalty + 1 License Point (Significant damage, obvious loss of time and positions)
3a.3 - Severe = at least 20 seconds penalty + 2 License Point (Collision that forces a driver to pit from the break menu and/or involves multiple cars)

Should a driver retire from the race before serving a penalty inflicted on him/her, it will be applied to the next race.

Any action deemed intentional will be handled separately outside the general rules. The first time could result in automatic disqualification from the race in which it happened or subsequent penalties in the form of disqualification from future races.

If an incident is caused by lag, and is proven via video, no action will be taken.

    Race - Dangerous Driving
3b.1-4 - Swaying, multiple movements, braking movements, reentering the track dangerously
    - Minor = 5 second penalty in the next race (No collision occurs)
    - Major = 10 second penalty in the next race (A collision is caused) + collision penalty.

    Miscellaneous
    4a - Lapping
    - Obstructing a driver in a sufficiently bad manner: 5 seconds in the next race
    - Unlapping in an unsafe manner : 5 seconds into the next race
    - Unlapping in an unsafe manner causing a collision : 10 seconds in the next race + collision penalty.

  • FNR & IVR Championship S2

    1a - Championship structure

The championship consists of two sections, Elite and Pro. Both sections compete for their own Drivers title, but for the same shared Constructors title. Teams are therefore made of 4 drivers (2 for the Elite section and 2 for the Pro section) with the purpose of being able to grow along with their teammates and work together for both personal and shared goals. Drivers face a 7-day Qualification in "Time Trial" mode, in which they must record their best stint of 10 consecutive valid laps on 2 different circuits and submit the relevant race director screenshots (only screenshots submitted during this period are valid). At the end of this period, a final ranking is made in which the 20 drivers with the best average position compete in the Elite section and the next 20 drivers in the Pro section. The top 10 finishers in each respective section cannot be teammates. The choice of the racing teams will be prioritized according to the final position in qualifying.

1b - License Points System and consequences

Each infringement during the race weekend sessions corresponds to a penalty. Penalties are applied regardless of any other penalty the driver may have received in the game. Each incident is assessed according to the specific context in which it occurred. The evaluation may lead to a penalty or even to nothing at all. Some penalties correspond to an amount of points that is added to the points license. - 4 license points = disqualification from Qualifying of the following race weekend - 6 license points = disqualification from the following race weekend - 8 license points = season finished The penalty types also include Warnings that although are not as tangible as penalty seconds and license points, they do sum up. Every 3 warnings you receive 1 licence point. The license point count resets at the end of the season. Any penalty received with a report in the last race of the season will be served/added to the license points at the start of the following season.

    1c - Management of drivers/absences

In case of absence, the driver is required to report it in the appropriate Discord channel by 1 p.m. on the day of the race of the section to which the driver is assigned to. If the absence is communicated after the time limit or not communicated, the pilot will be penalized with 1 warning. If the absent driver is from the Elite section, the team of the driver may replace him with one of its drivers from the Pro section if available, otherwise he will be replaced by a reserve driver if present and available. If the absent driver is from the Pro section, the team of the driver CANNOT replace him with a driver from the Elite section, he can only be replaced by a reserve if present and available. We reserve the right to replace a particularly absent driver from the Elite section with a driver from the Pro section of the same team if available, or otherwise by a reserve.

    2 - Qualifying

a- In qualifying, it is the driver's responsibility to take space on track to start the flying lap (we recommend enabling the full track map). Therefore, a driver in his flying lap must not abort his lap if a faster car approaches from behind. A driver in his In/Out Lap or Cancelled/Aborted Lap must must leave room for other drivers in their flying lap, so that the other driver is not damaged. b- It is not allowed to retire from the session while on track, the AI car may park near the track and distract the other drivers. If the driver wants to withdraw from the session he/she must do so in the pits, otherwise, anything that happens while the car is controlled by the AI will be considered the responsibility of the driver who withdrew and will result in a penalty. c- In qualifying, you are not allowed to cut or avoid sections of the track at any time, including IN/OUT lap. Doing so to gain a time advantage will result in a penalty. d- In qualifying, it is not allowed to use intermediate/wet tires in track conditions where the ideal tire is dry. e- Drivers disqualified for sum of License Points are not allowed to leave the pits and put in any laps.

    3 - Formation Lap

a- At the start of the formation lap wait until all drivers in front have started before moving. Also, it is necessary to respect one's own positions. b- During the formation lap, do not drive dangerously, sway excessively or slow down suddenly in front of someone. Maintain a safe distance from the driver in front, but without creating an excessive gap.

    4 - Race

Always race cleanly. No contact should occur between cars, and as a driver everyone must do their best to prevent this from happening. Accidents can happen, but if a driver has caused a collision, and it is reported, the driver will be penalized. It is important to be aware of where the cars are around you, it is vital to pay full attention, both at the beginning of the race and in battles. a- No driver is allowed to start the race session. After reaching the screen where you set the race strategy, only one admin will be allowed to start the session, after 1 minute and 30 seconds of waiting. Should a driver start the race session, he/she will be sanctioned with a warning. b- Similarly, no driver is allowed to start the race session after a red flag. Should a driver start the race session, he/she will be sanctioned with a warning. c- Do not be too aggressive in overtaking. It is generally the responsibility of the chasing car to complete the overtake cleanly. d- Never force a car that is alongside to leave the track. If two cars are side-by-side in a corner there must always be enough room for both. Side-by-side is defined as having the front wheel of the pursuing car at the same height as the rear wheels of the defending car. e- Moving under braking is absolutely not allowed, because it can cause accidents. Choose a braking line and hold it until the end of the braking. f- In the straights you are not allowed to wave or block the rider in your slipstream. g- Only one defensive movement is allowed when defending against an attacking car. Choose a line and hold it, and make sure the driver behind you has time to react. h- Re-enter the track in a safe manner. If a driver spins off the track while other cars are nearby, he must wait until it is safe before re-entering. If a driver spins out on the track he/she must stay put as long as cars are passing. i- When your own car or any surrounding cars are temporarily ghosted, you must consider them physically present. Voluntarily exploiting the situation to one's own advantage and passing surrounding cars is prohibited, except in cases of force majeure such as lag and position swings due to connection. i- Do not use the "Reset track" button, as this could cause accidents or dangerous situations. j- If a driver believes to have received an unfair time penalty, he/she may request its removal by reporting the incident with video evidence including their race director (or with screenshots of it). It will not be possible to compensate for Drive Through/Stop&Go penalties already served. k- If a driver believes to have been unfairly disqualified from the race, he/she may report the incident with video evidence with the reason for the disqualification. If it is deemed unfair, the driver will be classified as last place and possibly receive the points for that position.

5 - Safety Car and Virtual Safety Car

a- Maintain a good safety distance in order to: avoid hitting the car in front even if it brakes early, allow everyone to warm up their tyres safely, and also avoid the game going crazy and making you randomly overtake other cars resulting in the famous Illegal Overtaking. We're in SC, unless the game says you're WAY too far behind, there's no point in sticking or pulling alongside other cars, they're not going anywhere! b- Avoid pausing the game if possible, because sometimes the car of the person doing it will freeze, and may teleport in front or behind other cars, always resulting in illegal overtaking and various misunderstandings. c- When someone overtakes illegally, if they don't brake, slow down or let pass, they probably haven't had any illegal overtaking, so the game will tell you to stay behind them, there is nothing you can do. Illegal overtaking will be triggered if you try to overtake him. You may only wait for the end of the Safety Car and overtake him again on the track. d- When the Safety Car re-enters, the Race Leader will slow down a lot, in order to let the Safety car enter the pits and restart freely without the game intervening with the limiter so that you do not get too close to the SC. ONLY and ONLY when the SC has entered the pits the limiter will disappear. Be very careful at this stage and avoid braking too hard and accentuating movements. As long as the yellow flag is in force, any attempt to overtake will result in an illegal overtaking situation. Generally, overtaking is permitted as soon as the green flag is shown, but there may still be cases where it may be shown before the leader has crossed the line, in which case it is at the driver's discretion to take the risk of overtaking. Should an illegal overtaking incident occur under the green flag, we will not be able to intervene in any way. e- It is forbidden to park or damage the car on purpose so as to cause a Safety Car / VSC. Anyone failing to comply with the above rule will be penalised regardless of whether or not they have caused a SC/VSC entry.

    6 – Reports and Counter-reports

Drivers are allowed to make reports to bring to the attention of the race direction of incidents/episodes suffered, by filling out the form in the appropriate Discord channel -report-an-incident, keeping in mind that: a- It is required to fill out the form in its entirety and it is mandatory to submit video evidence including an ONBOARD (recorded or replay) b- For each submitted report, each driver receiving it can make only one counter-report, to show his point of view and allow the race direction to better evaluate the incident. c- The deadlines for making reports and counter-reports are as follows: - Elite: race day Monday, report deadline 9 p.m. Tuesday, counter-report deadline 9 p.m. Wednesday - Pro: race day Tuesday, report deadline 9 p.m. Wednesday, counter-report deadline 9 p.m. Thursday d- You may submit a report to request removal of warnings and/or penalties of 3, 5 or 10 seconds received for corner cutting or provoked collision. ONBOARD video evidence and screenshots from the race director must be included in the report, and in case the Stewards consider the incident unfair, they will be removed. It is not possible to request the removal of penalties in seconds if served at the pit stop before the end of the race. e- If the outcome of a report leads to neither a penalty nor a race incident, it is considered a loss of time and the driver who submitted it will receive 1 warning

    7 - Miscellaneous

a- During the qualifying and race sessions, it is forbidden to access other teams' voice channels unless you have agreed beforehand, as it breaks other drivers' concentration and can lead to serious consequences on the race. You can discuss any incidents that occurred during qualifying and race after the race in the appropriate Paddock channels. Should a driver be found to break this rule, the first time will receive an official warning, the second time his access to the voice channels of all other teams will be blocked. b- Insulting in general chat and reports is strictly forbidden. Should a driver be found breaking this rule, the first time will receive a license point, the second time will be disqualified from the championship. c- If a driver is about to be lapped it is expected to let faster drivers pass safely and without loss of time. It is the responsibility of the driver being lapped to be aware of the situation. Regardless of ghosting, the driver is expected to handle lapping in the traditional manner, stepping out of the ideal line and slowing down so that the faster car can pass in the shortest possible time. Do not continue at normal race pace, and wait until the car that is lapping has completely completed the overtaking. d- If a driver is faster than the car that has lapped him, he should not attempt to lap unless it is safe to do so, and he will not damage the other car. e- If lapped, do not keep driving through the other driver's car, because it will disturb both of you. If you can't lapped stay behind the car in front at a reasonable distance. f- Avoid if possible to pause the game while on track, it may lead to dangerous situations or accidents. The driver will be held fully responsible for any accidents caused by the AI. These accidents will be penalized as if you were driving. g- Dropping out of the race: deliberately dropping out is not recommended, it would be preferable for all drivers to drive to the end of the race. If you have to retire for any reason, find the safest place to park the car, make sure no other cars are overtaking, and retire there. Just as with pausing the game, the driver will be held responsible for any accident caused by the AI. h- It is forbidden to leave the session before the end of the race, even after a retirement, as it makes the session itself unstable and causes lag and freeze problems to other drivers on the track. i- Do not use the "Reset Track" button, because it may cause accidents or dangerous situations. j- If during the first half of the race, at least 25% of the drivers experience a disconnection/crash without being able to re-enter, the race session will be restarted (with custom grid based on qualifying positions). Depending on the time when the conditions described herein occur, a decision will be made on the spot whether to restart the race immediately or within the next two days. k- We reserve the right to intervene with sanctions above the regulations, with or without a report, in case of particular recidivism l- It has been found that, in pit lanes with a maximum speed of 60 km/h, if the Pit Limiter is engaged in a gear higher than second gear, the speed maintained by the limiter is 61-62 km/h. Therefore, one must always pay attention to the speed at which one enters the pitlane, with or without the Pit Limiter. The 5-second pitlane entry penalties received in this case will not be removed.

    Penalties

Qualifications. 2a.1 - Impeding = 1 License Point 2a.2 - Impeding with collision = 1 License Point + 5 grid positions in the next race 2a.3 - Impeding with collision causing fatal damage: 2 License Points + 5 grid positions in the next race 2b - Retiring on the track during qualifying = 1 Licence Point + penalty 5 grid positions in the next race if damaging or distracting another driver (with complaint received with proof from the damaged driver) 2c - Cutting corners in the IN/OUT lap: if a driver makes a complaint with attached video evidence of cutting another driver, 1 License Point will be applied 2d – Use of intermediate/wet tires in dry conditions: 1 warning 2e - Ignoring Disqualifications received = 2 License Points 2f - Intentional DSQ in Qualifying = 1 License Point + Disqualification from the next qualification Formation Lap 3x - 1 License Point will be applied for each driver seen not adhering to the above rules. Race. Grid reference action/incident (depending on context penalties may increase and/or add up) - Warning (minor incidents, etc) - 5 secs (minor loss of time/position) - 10 secs (obvious loss of time/position or light damage) - 1 licence point (significant damage or involves several cars with no retirement) - 2 licence points (caused withdrawal and/or involves several cars) Dive bombing, swaying, multiple movements, braking movements, dangerous re-entry and contact resulting from any of these actions or from a melee situation will not be tolerated and will be penalised according to the above grid according to context. Any action deemed intentional will be handled separately outside the general rules. The first time could lead to an automatic disqualification from the race in which it happened and/or subsequent penalties in the form of disqualification from subsequent races. If an incident is caused by lag, and is proven by video, no action will be taken. Safety Car and Virtual Safety Car. 5x - If a driver pulls alongside another driver without safety reasons, creating an illegal overtaking situation and/or penalty = 1 License Point for each situation created. - Minor Collision = 1 License Point + 5 seconds penalty - Serious collision = 2 License Points + 10 seconds penalty Miscellaneous. 7d-f - Lapping: obstructing a driver in a sufficiently clear manner, unsafe lapping and/or causing a collision will be penalised according to the race grid reference as appropriate. 7h - Dropping out of the race: Warning Any actions/accidents caused by the AI will be considered the responsibility of the driver and will be penalised according to the race grid reference based on context. 7i - Re-entering the track: Warning If the incident causes a collision, collision related penalties will be applied according to the race reference grid based on context.
